As a professional procurement organisation, the Foodbuy team understand and passionately embrace both the responsibility and positive opportunity we have to ensure our supply chains are founded on the highest standards of ethics and especially around employment standards and human rights. It’s embedded in our Values, our standards and the way we work and is a central pillar within our ESG focus.

Alongside our deep-founded belief in “Purpose Driven Procurement, coupled with our signatory to the UN Global Compact and our commitment to the Australian Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth),  we invest deeply into ensuring our domestic and global supply chains both understand and share these same values and that the fair, equitable, respectful and legal treatment of all employees across these supply chains is built into all our relationships which are further supported through our partnerships with leading organisations such as Sedex.

As part of this commitment, detailed further in our latest Statement, we are proud to provide all our suppliers and their employees with the ability to reach out, with confidence and confidentiality, to raise any concerns they may have or when they believe these standards and expectations are not being observed.
