Meet Little Ripples — The Premium Australian Wine That Gives Back
Did you know that one in ten people worldwide lacks access to clean drinking water? While this may seem like a daunting problem to tackle, Little Ripples has been making a difference since its inception in 2019.
Meet Little Ripples, a wine company that not only produces some of Australia’s great, high-quality wines but also has a significant impact on the global water crisis.
For every bottle of wine purchased, Little Ripples provides one person with a year’s worth of clean drinking water, allowing consumers to drink wine and make a difference at the same time.
Partnering with the BridgIT Water Foundation, Little Ripples identifies communities in need and facilitates the construction of water wells. The company also implements practices to manage and maintain these wells for ten years, ensuring that communities have access to clean water for the long term.
Little Ripples’ wines are sourced from some of Australia’s most renowned regions, including the Barossa Valley, Adelaide Hills, and Coonawarra. As a result of the company’s recent growth in both domestic and international markets, they have signed export deals with companies such as Cold Storage Singapore, Wellcome in Hong Kong, MMI, IDS, and Lufthansa Airlines in Germany.
Thanks to the support of their partners and customers, Little Ripples has built 24 water wells in developing countries, providing clean water to 247,000 individuals. However, the company isn’t stopping there. Their new goal is to provide five million people with clean drinking water in the next ten years.
Little Ripples’ achievements are a testament to the power of collaboration and commitment to a cause. With the continued support of its partners, including Foodbuy, the company is well on its way to achieving its ambitious goal and making a significant impact on the global water crisis.
